A backup is a snapshot of your library data: the organization, the settings, the profiles, your custom design. Never the video files themselves, so a backup is small and quick.

1. Taking one
Create backup takes one now. It appears at the top of the list, newest first, with when it was taken and how big it is. Automatic backups take one on a schedule: switch it on and pick how often. The automatic ones are marked, and older ones are pruned so the list does not grow forever.

2. Keeping it elsewhere
Download saves a backup as a file, to keep on another drive or in the cloud. Upload brings a file like that back in, on this computer or a new one.
3. Restoring
Restore puts the library data back the way it was in that backup. It asks first, and TvT takes a safety backup of the current state before it does anything, so even a restore can be undone. Delete removes the backup file, after a confirmation. Nothing on this page ever touches a video.

Good to know
- Before a big change: a reorganization, a bulk action on many videos, a design change. Take one, then let the schedule cover the rest.
- Moving to a new computer: download a backup, install TvT, add the same folders as Video Locations, then upload and restore.
